Koenraad Dedobbeleer (°1975,
B) studeerde in Sint Lucas, Brussel, het Hoger Instituut voor Schone Kunsten,
Antwerpen en de Atliers, Amsterdam. Hij woont en werkt in Brussel. Zijn
multi-mediaal werk is gebaseerd op en becommentariëert architectuur,
constructies, sculptuur, opstellingen, voorwerpen, gebruiken. Tevens werkt
hij als scenograaf / stage designer. Dedobbeleer stelde eerder reeds tentoon
in Netwerk Galerij (NEW), naast tal van groepstentoonstellingen, waaronder
recent in het M HKA (Once Upon Time …), en solotentoonstellingen in
o.m. Brussel, Amsterdam, Wenen, Basel, Keulen, Zürich.
Koenraad Dedobbeleer (°1975, B) studied at Higher Institute for
Fine Arts, Antwerp and de Ateliers, Amsterdam. Hij lives and works in Brussels.
His multilayered work, using different disci-plines, is based upon and making
comments on architecture, constructions, sculpture, displays, objects, practices.
He is also working as a scenographer / stage designer. Dedobbeleer already
exhibited in Netwerk Galerij (NEW, 2003), besides group exhibitions, recently
in M HKA (Once Upon Time …), and solo exhibitions in Brussels, Amsterdam,
Vienna, Basel, Cologne, Munich.
Vincent Meessen (°1971, B) studeerde
journalistiek en werkte als freelance fotojournalist, tot 2000 waarna hij
zich uitsluitend gaat wijden aan artistieke projecten. Zijn fotografie-
en videowerk roept de vorm op van het document of een documentaire stijl,
en structureert zich omtrent de vraag van de ‘betwiste ruimte’
of het territorium als inzet van de politiek. Meessen woont en werkt in
Brussel en studeert momenteel aan het Hoger Instituut voor Schone Kunsten
in Antwerpen. Hij nam deel aan de tentoonstelling Belgian System (Thurn
& Taxis) en publiceerde Qui-Vive, Autoportrait des enfants des rues
bij La Lettre Volée (2003).
Vincent Meessen (°1971, B) studied journalism and worked as a freelance
photojournalist until 2000 whereafter he exclusively starts to work on his
artistic projects. His photography and videowork invokes a documentary form
or style, and is structured with regard to the problem of the ‘disputed
space’ or the territory as a political issue. Meessen lives and works
in Brussels. He is studying at Higher Institute for Fine Arts, Antwerp.
He participated in the exhibition Belgian System (Thurn & Taxis, Brussels)
and published Qui-Vive, Autoportrait des enfants des rues, at La Lettre
Volée (2003).
Clémentine Roy (°1974,
F) studeerde aan de École Nationale Supérieure d’Arts
de Paris-Cergy, en woont in Parijs. In haar foto-, video-, installatie-
en geluidswerk, interpreteert zij natuurlijke elementen, licht, atmosfeer
tegenover of als technologische entiteiten. De wereld, ook de meest natuurlijke,
wordt er ervaren als uiterst artificieel, maar tegelijk zeer leefbaar. Roy
stelde reeds eerder tentoon in Netwerk Galerij (NEW; Alice Evermore –
The Resistance of Ether). Zij stelde tentoon in Parijs, Japan, Canada, Duitsland.
Clémentine Roy (°1974, F) studied at École Nationale
Supérieure d’Arts de Paris-Cergy, and lives and works in Paris.
In her photo-, video-, installation- and soundworks, she interpretes natural
elements of light, sound and atmosphere in front of, or as if they were,
technological entities. The world, even in its most natural state, is experienced
as utmost artificial, but nevertheless very livable. Roy exhibited before
in Netwerk Galerij (NEW, 2003; Alice Evermore – The Resistance of
Ether, 2004) as well as in Paris, Japan, Canada, Germany.
