A DOUBLE DOUBLE BILLTow evenings with double bills: a friday filled
with intimacy, and a saturday full of exuberant noise.
Tape (SE)
This band steers a middle course between experiment and pop music. It's trio which combines glockenspiel, harmonium, guitar, organ and laptop electronics to transparent, pastoral music. Their last album was produced by Markus Smickler (see Pluramon). Luminarium, their forth album, will be released in May by the Swedish Häpna label (e.i. Andrea Belfi, Hans Appelqvist, Stephan Mathieu and Pita). This concert promises pastoral beauty in the most pure form. Dictaphone (BE/DE)
Shit and Shine is one big stoner monster with members from Todd and Part Chimp. Two bass guitars, between four and forty drummers, and one small casio keybord playing the same riff. Punk's not dead! Amen Ra (BE) Amen Ra isn't a band, it's a religion. The slow, threatening doom metal they play just aims to a brutal catharsis. At Netwerk, the priests of the Church of Ra presentate their new album Mass IIII. |
