On Wednesday the cyclists will confront Ginckels' installation 1000 beats and his performance collective / living sculpture Nononoise.
1000 Beats is an orchestra that consists of audio equipment, turntables, amplifiers, mixers and Hi-Fi stereo equipment. Each turntable plays One Beat, a vinyl single upon which an endless loop of a single second is pressed.
Nononoise is a living sculpture / collective where music, performance and improvisation blends into what Ginckels terms a 'placebo concert': a performance in which a structured game is played with the definition of a music concert.
